24th feb 2007 - derry ireland derry has strong links with all kinds of dance music thanks to the efforts of the 'deep fried funk' promoters, and now drum and base is being pioneered in this most musical of cities by global virus. first up 'move' played a superb dnb / scratch / hiphop mash up with a live drummer. their energy and playing did them credit considering it was only the trio's 2nd gig. really good stuff. following up, zyon base - a fast rising dnb producer living in belfast - tonight played his first gig in the north. many thanks to hago
